AOVE ADULTERATION DETECTION

The Optioleo project is oriented to industrial research and seeks to determine in real time different parameters of the oil through fluorescence spectroscopy, to provide producers with information in decision-making and to carry out an effective management of the quality and food safety system.

Objective: 

Development of optical technologies to distinguish in real time adulterations of olive oil.

FLUID CHARACTERIZATION

agrofluid

The Agrofluid project is oriented towards the development of optoelectronic equipment for the characterization of fluids using techniques based on optical spectroscopy with the aim of providing online and real-time measurements of tomato sauce production.

Objectives:

  • Validation of techniques based on VIS-NIR spectroscopy to obtain quality parameters of tomato sauces.
  • Development of correlational systems that allow classifying tomato sauces according to different parameters of interest (brix degrees, ph, fat content, sugar content, etc.).
  • Design and manufacture of a measurement system that provides the parameters of tomato sauces in real time on the production line.
